Week 2

Mastering user stories and leveraging Agile tools

  • Crafting Effective User Stories: The INVEST Model.
  • Defining Clear, Measurable Acceptance Criteria.
  • User Stories in Agile Planning and Estimation.
  • Backlog Grooming and Prioritisation Techniques.
  • Bridging User Stories and Business Requirements.
  • JIRA Introduction: Features, Navigation, Sprint Planning, Progress Tracking.

Week 3

Advanced Agile practices and prototyping

  • Advanced Backlog Management Strategies.
  • Sprint Planning for Complex Projects.
  • Overcoming Scrum Implementation Challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement in Scrum: Metrics and KPIs.
  • Scrum in Distributed and Remote Teams.
  • Introduction to Prototyping Tools: Figma Overview.

Week 4

AI in Agile

  • Exploring AI Tools in Agile Environments: ChatGPT and Others.
  • Automating Requirement Analysis and Code Generation with AI.
  • AI’s Impact on Roles in Agile Teams.
  • Balancing Human Expertise and AI in Agile Projects.
  • Future Trends: AI’s Growing Influence in Agile Methodologies.
  • Evolving Landscape: Integration of AI in Agile Workflows.


While basic exposure to agile development methodology is helpful, this session is open to students eager to gain hands-on practical experience. Strong problem-solving skills and good oral and written communication skills are also important.

On completion, participants will receive a statement of completion. Candidates completing a live industry project will also gain project experience they may want to add to their portfolio to showcase their skills to potential employers.
